1952 Topps #311 Mickey Mantle Rookie Card PSA Poor 1 NY Yankees HOF. 1952 Topps Rookie Card #311 of New York Yankees Hall-of-Famer, Mickey Mantle. Just back from PSA, I had hoped for Good 2, expected Fair 1.5 and received Poor 1.

It is no surprise at PSA, with the TOUGH grading on the super star Rookie Cards such as this #311. I can practically guarantee that if this were any other common from the'52T set, it would have earned Fair 1.5! Sure, there is some subtle creasing, a wrinkle or two and some surface wear (snow) that is really accentuated when this card is card is imaged, due to the bright scanner light against the sky-blue background. And, there is some damage to the upper left corner area.

The card does technically deserve Poor 1, but it is certainly one of the stronger examples on the "Poor 1 Spectrum". Please examine the high resolution scans included, front and back.
