1952 Topps Baseball Near Complete Low # Set (274/310) Tons Of Stars Vg/vg+ Rare

  
VERY NICE LOW TO MID GRADE 1952 TOPPS BASEBALL NEAR LOW NUMBER SET (274 OUT OF 310) w/TONS OF LISTED STARS AND HOFERS FROM THE LOW SERIES. BOTH RED AND BLACK BACKS INCLUDED. TOUGH TO FIND IN NICE SHAPE! Overall lot condition is about a VG in MY OPINION (yours may vary). Lots of variation from mostly F to VGEX with stars in similar shape. The overwhelming majority are in G to VG with a good amount of VGEX and some fillers here and there. Some centering issues as is common, some have minor writing or minor tape marks/paper loss.

They are PRESENTABLE overall with a TON of STARS. Pafko VGEX (soft corners, one tiny corner wrinkle, great eye appeal). Runnels RC appears G/VG (tape marks, small writing on back, top right corner very worn). Loes VG- corner wear, creasing down the middle. Rizzuto G (No large creases, heavy corner wear and corner wrinkles, print spots).

Loes G (off center, no large creases, rounded corners and corner wrinkles). Irvin G (nicely centered, several creases). Spahn F/G (small piece out of top right corner, creasing). Kluszevski VG+ (no creases, some tiny paper loss on right edge). Snider F (heavily creased with tape on back but still in one piece and presentable).

Roberts G/G+ (appears VGEX, no creases, just a piece missing out of top right corner). Hodges F/G (water stain, pen marks, surface crease, rounded corners). Slaughter F/G (rounded corners, surface creases, corner wrinkles). Reynolds F/G (appears nicer, nicely centered, rounded corners, surface creases, paper loss on back). Berra G/G+ (rounded corners, 2 creases near corners). Minoso RC VG/VG+ (no creases, corner wear only). Houk RC VG- (corner wear, surface crease, light pen mark on front). Ashburn F (appears nicer with fuzzy corners, paper loss on front, stains on back, NO large creases). Page G/VG red back (rounded corners, some creases, small pen mark on back). Lopat F/G (tape marks and paper loss but fairly crisp). Law G/VG (rounded corners, stains). Schoendienst G (rounded corners, creasing). Lemon VG/VG+ (appears much nicer, faint surface crease left to right, faint wax stain on back). Branca VG/VG+ (crisp card that appears much nicer, light surface creasing). Mize G- (rounded corners, miscut, creasing).

Bauer G (rounded corners, paper loss on back, light creases). Metkovich VGEX+ (sprint spots, faint corner ding, minor wax stain on back, crisp card). Near set is overall fairly clean and presentable.

BRIGHT COLORS throughout and backs fairly clean overall with the occasional one with some paper loss or small pen mark. Displayed in clean and clear NEW sheets as shown in pictures (no album).

Several have creasing as is common on these. Hard to find out there in any grade, because you just don't see too many early 52 Topps lots.

Priced fairly for a collector to enjoy, or break it apart, get cards graded and use it as an investment. Perfect as a gift for friends or family. Please look at pictures carefully and ask any and all questions beforehand.
