Very nice Mickey Mantle 12 card baseball card + autographed book lot PSA BGS BVG Beckett SGC with 1951 Bowman rookie and 1956 Topps. This is another layer of my Mantle collection. I assembled these cards one by one focusing on affordability and eye appeal. This is a great instant collection that really presents well.

There might not be a better investment these days than graded Mantle cards. All 12 cards + the autographed book in the pictures are included for the sale price. Take note of the following cards in this lot.

I don't need to sell them... Just testing the water looking for an interested collector. None of the cards have any damage to the backs that deface or mar the back text or pictures. 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle rookie graded BVG (Beckett) Authentic (altered). The card is beautiful and looks like a much higher grade card with amazing clarity.

I don't know why it received the Authentic altered designation. I can't see any obvious trimming. I bought it just like this already authenticated by Beckett. It's the nicest centered 1951 Bowman Mantle I've owned and I hate to part with it, but I have a higher grade one that I'm keeping. There are a number of important cards included in this lot of 12 + the autographed book that are needed for a Mantle set which are now VERY expensive in higher grades, including the 1954 and 1955 Bowmans and the highly sought after 1956, 1957, 1959 (SGC 70 = a 5.5 grade) and 1962 Topps cards.

There are also some really nice 1960's cards. Also included is a Mickey Mantle autographed copy of "My Favorite Summer 1956". I bought this book from an older lady who had hundreds of autographed items that she personally secured at signing events in Florida.

She had the Mick sign this for her at a mall signing a number of years ago before his death. I can't guarantee the autograph is original, but I have a number of JSA authenticated Mantle autographs and it looks in keeping with them.
