1952 Topps Baseball Near Complete Set (258/310) + 12 Hi #s Psa Stars Nice Ex/ex+

  

VERY NICE MID GRADE 1952 TOPPS BASEBALL NEAR LOW NUMBER SET (258 OUT OF 310) PLUS 12 HIGH NUMBER INCLUDING A COUPLE OF STARS. W/TONS OF LISTED STARS AND HOFERS FROM THE LOW AND HIGH SERIES.

BOTH RED AND BLACK BACKS INCLUDED. TOUGH TO FIND IN NICE SHAPE! Overall lot condition is about a SOLID EX/EX+ OVERALL in MY OPINION (yours may vary). Lots of variation from mostly VG to NRMT with stars in similar shape.

I would estimate about 35% EXMT with several as nice as NRMT with centering issues, 50% VGEX to EX and 15% VG or below. Barely any fillers at all. HIGH NUMBERS around VG/VG+ overall. Pafko PSA 2 G (soft corners, crease by upper left and hairline crease in middle). Runnels RC G+ (rounded corners, scratches, no creases, one tiny corner wrinkle at tip).

Rizzuto VGEX (no creases, very faint surface wrinkle on back bottom edge). Hodges VG (off center, corner wear and wrinkling by top right). Loes RC VG+/VGEX (corner wear, minor print dots by bottom right, tiny hairline wrinkle). Dimaggio G+ (no creases, just rounded corners). Irvin G/VG (nicely centered, creases, tiny stains).

Kluszewski EX- (corner wear only). Spahn F/G (nicely centered, creasing, print spots, tiny staple holes above hat).

Page VGEX/VGEX+ (tiny hairline wrinkle by top right, crisp card). Lopat VGEX+/EX (appears a lot nicer, one hairline wrinkle, crisp card). Sain Black Back VG/VG+ (well centered, surface crease by lower left corner). Roberts VG+/VGEX (nicely centered, soft to rounded corners, marks on back). Snider SGC 40 VG (centered, surface crease on back, looks VG+ to VGEX). Slaughter VG+/VGEX (no creases, corner wear and print spots). Reynolds VGEX+ (crisp card, tiny hairline corner wrinkle on back). Schoendienst VGEX+ (appears EXMT+, couple light surface creases, minor bottom edge wear). Jensen VGEX+ (well entered, corner wear only).

Mize G- (nicely centered, rounded corners, corner wrinkles, small pen mark on back). Berra VGEX (looks nicer, lightly off cut, small pen on front, crisp card). Minoso RC VG+/VGEX (crisp card, surface creasing left to right on front). Bauer VGEX+/EX (appears EX+, very faint surface wrinkles on front, crisp card). Ashburn VG+ (appears EX, surface crease on front bottom).

Doby EX/EX+ (crisp card, minor corner wear). Kell VGEX+/EX (appears EXMT, surface wrinkles left to right on front, minor wax stain on back). Branca VGEX+ (appears nicer, crisp card, tiny paper loss on front, tiny hairline wrinkle on front).

Wynn VG+/VGEX (well centered, corner crease by upper right and surface creases on back). Metkovich VGEX (well centered, surface wrinkle on front bottom, crisp card). Campanella #314 F/G (paper loss, small staple holes, still has nice eye appeal). Reese appears EXMT/EXMT+ (other than tape marks, this is a very sharp card).

Near set is overall VERY CLEAN and BEAUTIFULLY presentable. BRIGHT COLORS throughout and backs fairly clean overall with the occasional one with some paper loss or small pen mark or tape residue.

Displayed in clean and clear NEW sheets as shown in pictures (no album). A large amount are CRISP with VERY SHARP CORNERS!

Hard to find out there in any grade, because you just don't see too many early 52 Topps lots. Priced fairly for a collector to enjoy, or break it apart, get cards graded and use it as an investment. Perfect as a gift for friends or family. Please look at pictures carefully and ask any and all questions beforehand.
