VERY PRESENTABLE COMPLETE 1958 TOPPS BASEBALL CARD SET. TONS OF STARS AND HALL OF FAMERS, INCLUDING MANTLES, MAYS, CLEMENTE, MARIS RC ETC. HARD TO FIND IN ANY GRADE. Overall I would call it a SOLID VG+/VGEX OVERALL (my opinion, yours may vary). Lots of variation from mostly G to EX with the majority in the VG to VGEX range. Some fairly nice ones thrown in, as well as a good amount of fillers. A good amount of cards have small writing on them, as evidenced with some of the stars. A good number also have tiny dot stains on one side white edge, hardly noticeable once you look at the card pulled out. With some upgrading this would make a nice set. As it is now an affordable way to own an iconic 50s set without spending several thousand dollars.

MAJOR STARS GRADE AS FOLLOWS. Mays G/VG (corner wear, crease, small writing, tiny paper loss on back). Drysdale VG/VG+ (corner wear, faint hairline wrinkle on back). Aaron G/VG (no creases, rounded corners, minor writing). Maris RC G (off center, print spots, writing on front).

Clemente VGEX/VGEX+ (appears EX+ other than a surface crease by bottom right corner). Mantle F/G (fairly presentable, various creases, minor writing on front). Koufax VG (rounded corners, surface crease on back, minor writing on front). Yankees TC VGEX+ (appears EX, tiny corner wrinkle, unmarked on back).

Spahn G/G+ (rounded corners, crease, minor writing). Robinson VG- (off center, surface crease, appears nicer). Killebrew G- (very rounded corners, surface crease by upper left corner).

Robinson VG+/VGEX (off center, hairline wrinkle). Banks G/G+ (rounded corners, minor writing, hairline wrinkles). Mantle/Aaron VG- (off center, surface wrinkles). Williams AS VG+/VGEX (hairline wrinkle by lower left, corner wear).

Mays AS VG (off center, surface crease). Mantle AS G/VG (rounded corners, hairline wrinkles on back). Aaron AS VGEX (tiny edge stains on left side, no creases, corner ding). Good colors and decent eye appeal!
