1962 Topps Baseball Complete Set (598) Mantle Clemente Overall Vgex+/ex Nice

  

VERY NICE 1962 TOPPS BASEBALL CARD COMPLETE SET OF 598. TONS OF STARS AND HALL OF FAMERS INCLUDING MARIS, MANTLE, CLEMENTE, ETC. HARD TO FIND IN NICE SHAPE. Overall I would call it VGEX+/EX (my opinion, yours may vary). Lots of variation from mostly VG to EXMT with the majority in the VGEX to EX range.

I would say about 60% of the set is VGEX or better cards, a large amount of those being crisp, almost pack fresh cards with the usual 62 centering issues. The rest is a combination of VG ones due to the tough brown borders, with the occasional one below VG. All in all it shows very nicely!

High numbers follow suit pretty much, perhaps a hair nicer overall. MAJOR STARS GRADE AS FOLLOWS.

Maris VGEX+EX (corner wear, tiny hairline wrinkle). Koufax VGEX (corner wear, one tiny corner wrinkle by upper left on back).

Clemente VGEX (corner wear only, print spots). Mantle Manager's Dream EX (corner wear, one dinged corner on back). Musial EXMT+ oc (nearly pack fresh, off center). Perry RC EXMT/EXMT+ (corner wear only, beautiful color).

Mantle EX- (beautifully centered, great color, corner wear only). Mantle #318 VGEX (corner wear, barely noticeable hairline wrinkle). Mays VG+/VGEX (corner wear, two hairline creases). Aaron EX (corner wear, off center).

Brock RC VGEX/VGEX+ (corner wear only, beautiful centering). Yaztrzemski VGEX (corner wear only). Mantle AS EXMT (corner wear only, off center, crisp card). Gibson EX+ (corner wear, off center, small imprints in front).

McCovey EX- (corner wear, bottom edge wear). Rest of cards follow suit more or less. LOTS of sharper looking ones. Overall MID GRADE displayed in nice clear sheets. Please look at pictures and you'll see for yourself.
