1965 Topps Baseball Complete Set Mantle Carlton Rc Clemente Nice Ex+

  
VERY NICE MID TO HIGH GRADE 1965 TOPPS COMPLETE BASEBALL SET (missing only #207) WHICH INCLUDES MANTLE, CLEMENTE, CARLTON RC, ETC AMONG OTHERS. TOUGH TO FIND IN NICE SHAPE. Overall set condition is a SOLID EX/EX+ in my opinion (YOURS MAY VARY), closer to EX+. Condition varies throughout from mostly VG to NRMT+. Mixed set with about 40% or so EXMT to NRMT+ crisp, nearly pack fresh cards, mixed in with VGEX or so cards, about 10-15% VG or below. Stars more or less follow suit for the most part, with some really CRISP ones, including Carlton RC and some lower grade. Major starts grade as follows. Mantle Leaders #5 EXMT off center, some minor edge wear on back, crisp card! Morgan RC VGEX (appears much nicer, couple of surface wrinkles and small corner crease on back).

Mantle WS VGEX+ (tiny stain by upper right corner, barely visible hairline wrinkle). Clemente G/VG (rounded corners, surface creases).

Aaron EX+/EXMT (fuzzy corners otherwise nearly pack fresh). Mays EX- (appears EX+/EXMT with dinged bottom right corner, minor stains on back).

Koufax EX (corner wear only). Mantle VGEX/VGEX+ (NO creases, corner wear, minorvleft edge wear, tiny corner wrinkling by upper two tips). Yaztrzemski EX (off center, corner wear only).

Niekro RC EX+ (nearly pack fresh other than fuzzy corners). Carlton RC NRMT/NRMT+ (nearly pack fresh). Hunter RC VG+/VGEX (corner crease by lower left, staining on back, tiny spot of paper loss on front).

Banks VG- (crease by upper left, surface wrinkles on back). Perez RC VGEX (two small hairline wrinkles, wax on front, discoloration on back). The high numbers are in similar shape overall with a good deal of variation up and down.

Hard to find out there in higher grade without paying several thousand. Priced fairly for a collector to enjoy, or break it apart, get cards graded and use it as an investment. Perfect as a gift for friends or family. Please look at pictures carefully and ask any and all questions beforehand.
