1966 Topps Baseball Complete Set (598/598) High Grade EX/EX+ STRONG SET! This is a High-end complete 598 card set.
The condition is EX to EX+ to EXMT and having NRMT or above cards mixed in at times. The cards are completely ungraded at this time, although there are surely numerous worthy of sending to get graded.
The 1966 set is very costly to put together due to the numerous specials and cards of all of the big stars Mantle, Palmer RC, Mays, Rose, Aaron, Grant Jackson RC SP, etc. , but the real challenge and cost is in the high number series from #523-598 and especially the short-print (SP) cards. As of the time of the posting of this set, there was no other complete 1966 set listed hat either (1) matched the quality of the cards or (2) came close to the listing price.
Check around and you'll see this is a very good value. The Beckett Book Value on this set has not changed in years and is frankly way out of date. Even with the outdated Beckett values, the breakup potential of this set is HUGE! 12 of the high value cards are pictured in Card Saver 1s. There are 5-6 more which will also come in Card Saver 1s. The rest of the set is in new Ultra-Pro 9 pocket sheets with empty slots for the cards in the Card Savers should you decide to put the entire set in the binder.
